Established in 1966, the Düsseldorf Dragons have started as a Team of British soldiers who wanted to enjoy their favourite game when living around Düsseldorf, as it was the case in many British Force military bases.

With time, the Team started to welcome players from non military background.

In the mid-90s, theDüsseldorf Dragons joined the TuS 1895, a multi-sport organisation including sports such as volley ball, athletics, Badminton, Table tennis.

Nowadays, the Düsseldorf Rugby Club includes more than 100 members, male and female players from 4 to over 50 years old.
