Rest in Peace!

It is with deep sadness that the Düsseldorf Dragons have learned about the death of two of their players, Alexander Bender and Christoph Sever.

On the 28^th November 2019, some Dragons were saying their last goodbye to Alexander Bender who lost his long fight and left us. Our thoughts are with Alexander's family, his wife, his daughter and his friends in these tough moments.

On Friday 13^th December, Christoph Sever lost his life in a car accident. This unexpected loss saddened all of us. Our thoughts go to his family, his girlfriend and all his friends.

Words are missing to express how sad we are to lose two of ours. We would like to present our sincere condolences to both Alexander and Christoph families.

We will remember both Alexander and Christoph as rugby players sharing with us the same passion for the oval ball and the game of Rugby, the same eagerness to fight with friends and the same love for the friendship on and off the pitch.

Alexander, Christoph, Farewell and Rest in Peace. We will miss you.
