Match report - SG Dortmund/Bochum

Last weekend, the next game in the NRW Regional League was on the agenda for the men's team. Their goal was to continue the positive trend against SG Ruhrpott (Dortmund/Bochum). And they succeeded. Just like against Essen a fortnight ago, the team started the game in a dominant manner and was able to establish itself in the opponent's half. This resulted in several beautiful tries. However, SG Ruhrpott was also able to score. Half time score: 24:14. In the second half, the picture was completely reversed. SG Ruhrpott dominated the breakdowns and scored the next try in the 48th minute. The Dragons then gradually gained more access to the game, countered with a new try in the 60th minute and managed the game well. In the last ten minutes, both sides managed to put points on the scoreboard again with one additional try on each side. Final score: 36-28.
The Dragons are happy with five more points in the standings and will be training hard over the coming Easter days for the derby in Cologne on 22 April to continue their winning streak.
