Kids In Action 2023
Once again, the Dragons decided to participate to the event organised by the city of Düsseldorf, the Kids in Action 2023 that took place this Sunday 11th June 2023.
With this event, the SportAmt of Düsseldorf aims to promote exercise, sports and talent.
In the Arena Sport Park, children from Düsseldorf were invited to discover 48 different sport activities offered by the participating clubs and were given the chance to experience the ones they wanted to try.
This year was again a big success for Rugby.
From the start to the end of the event, our area was filled with children who were keen on trying to pass and kick the ball and learn the basics of tackling.
Thanks to the many young Dragons (Aldéric, Anton, Edouard, Emil, Finn, Freddie, Harry, Ilias, Léo, Max, Oscar, Paul, Pelayo, Rustam, Telmo) who spent a lot of time supporting the event by showing to other children the specifics of our sport, our club appeared to be very attractive.
From the feedback received on site, we can already count on a few new children who will come for trial training sessions at the Dragons and hopefully will become members of the club.
Special thank you to all the players who came to support us and to all the parents who helped making our appearance noticeable and thus successful. We also would like to thank the Dusseldorf Sportamt for organising such a great event and giving us this chance to advertise our club.
